We’re so glad you found us.
If you’re feeling unsure about what to do next — you’re not alone. We’re here for you.

The Youth Action Council of Arizona (YAC-AZ) mission is to encourage the empowerment of youth with and without disabilities in an all-inclusive environment through education and community involvement in all aspects of change and advocacy. Everyone is welcome to be part of YAC-AZ. All they need to have is a willingness to learn about the issues that affect youth with disabilities and a desire to become a leader within the community. YAC-AZ empowers youth by providing education on programs and resources for youth within their communities. YAC-AZ also promotes self-advocacy and self-determination through mentoring and workshops. Members meet once a month on the FIRST Saturday of each month to explore disability-related issues. Meetings are usually held at the Disability Empowerment Center 5025 E. Washington, Phoenix, AZ 85034. You can contact George Garcia at 602-235-0354 ext 801, g.garcia@swifamilies.org
