OUR BACKGROUND AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
About LETI FOUNDATION (LETI)
and its founder, Theresa Gloria-Palma
With over 25 years of community outreach experience, Theresa Gloria-Palma created the LETI Foundation out of love and a deep desire to help others. When her daughter Leticia was young, Theresa spent years navigating the complex systems of state agencies, education, and healthcare — all to ensure her daughter had the support she needed to live a healthy, meaningful life.
The journey wasn’t easy. At times, it felt overwhelming and even hopeless. But through those challenges, Theresa learned how to find the right services and support — and she knew other families needed that same guidance.
So she began sharing what she had learned. Word spread quickly, and families started coming together. What began as a small group turned into a strong and supportive network, meeting every month at a local library to learn, connect, and empower each other.
That’s how LETI was born — a foundation built on love, lived experience, and a shared commitment to helping people with disabilities and their families thrive.
Today, LETI Foundation celebrates the lasting impact it has had on families. The babies of 2005 are now thriving young adults—active in schools, churches, sports, and community life.
Theresa continues supporting families, offering guidance and emotional support to parents and guardians. Her mission is to provide comfort, prevent frustration, and empower families with the knowledge and tools to navigate the system in Phoenix and surrounding areas.
That’s how LETI was born — a foundation built on love, lived experience, and a shared commitment to helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families thrive.

Mother and daughter, Theresa and Leticia still have an active role in the community.
“Our new path has taken us from adolescent to adult transition. We are having fun, finding new services and supports for Leticia.”
